Nap of minky fabric

I made a baby blanket for my niece's baby. I got the minky fabric from the remnant bin. When I brought it home I saw that it was one long strip. I thought no problem, I will just sew two pieces together and make a square. I kept the nap in mind when I was cutting the fabric but I just sewed the pieces together without thinking. I did learn a lesson. Next time I will run my hand over the fabric to check the nap when it's pinned, before sewing. I am pretty sure I will be the only one to notice and it still turned out pretty well.

Its been awhile but I've continued to sew every now and again when school is out. Last thing I made were these charging pockets. They went pretty quick. A friend requested one & I thought I'd keep the other. She liked both so I thought I'd do a 3rd for me. Since its just for me, I haven't made time to do it. May have to wait till summer break, haha!
