A few Saturday's ago, my students were PARCC testing and we planned the curriculum around it :-D so I had time to sew. I've had this fabric for awhile and knew what I wanted to do with it. I picked up the pattern on a sale so I'm sure I didn't pay more than $1.50 for it. The pattern is Simplicity. Here's what I made:
I also want to use this to make a skirt from an old pair of jeans. Saw a cool version with the top part of the jeans and the skirt starts, ruffled a little, after the back pockets. Hopefully, my matching skirt will be done this summer! School's almost out and I can't wait to sew!!!
